On this page
Short answer: A bidet attachment is a slim, non-electric frame that sits under your existing toilet seat and adds a front and rear water wash. On their own sites on November 4, 2026, the eight we compared cost $35.99 to $139. If you want a heated seat, warm water from a control panel or a dryer, you need a full bidet seat instead, which costs more and has stricter fit rules.

The FreshSpa Thinline Advanced page says it “connects to your sink’s hot water supply line”, but the same page also mentions an “ambient temperature wash” and is titled “Thinline Essential” in places, so confirm the version and hot-water hookup with Brondell before ordering. “Not stated” means we did not find the answer on the product page we read, not that the feature is missing. Luxe also lists the NEO 185 PLUS (dual nozzles, cold water, $55.99), but it showed as sold out when we checked.
Good picks by need
Good pick if you want the lowest listed price
The Brondell EasySpa with dual nozzles ($35.99) and Luxe NEO 120 ($39.99) are the least expensive on this list, though prices change often and several are marked down from a higher list price. The EasySpa page describes a “refreshing, ambient temperature wash” with “self-cleaning dual nozzles”; the NEO 120 has a single wash nozzle and a self-cleaning mode.
Good pick if you want warm water
Three listed models offer warm water: Brondell’s FreshSpa Thinline Advanced ($39.99), Luxe’s NEO 320 ($59.99) and Tushy’s Spa 3.0 ($127). All three need a connection to the hot supply under your sink. Brondell’s page says it “connects to your sink’s hot water supply line” (see the note above the chart), and Tushy states that the Spa “must be next to a sink to connect properly”. Luxe notes you can use the NEO 320 with cold water only by fitting the hot water cap provided. Check that your sink is close enough to the toilet before choosing a warm-water model.
Good pick if you want two nozzles
The Brondell EasySpa ($35.99), Bio Bidet SlimEdge ($44), Luxe NEO 320 ($59.99) and Tushy Classic 4.0 ($139) all list two nozzles. Bio Bidet describes separate posterior and feminine washes; Tushy describes “two independently adjustable nozzles”.
Good pick if you rent
No one can promise your landlord’s reaction, but the attachments whose pages address it need no electricity, and Tushy (Classic 4.0), Luxe and Bio Bidet say no plumber is needed. Tushy’s Classic 4.0 page says “No electricity or plumber needed” and Luxe says “No plumbing experience or electricity required”. The cold-water models connect to the toilet’s supply line, while warm-water models also tap the sink line, which is a bigger change to undo.
Does a bidet attachment fit your toilet?
No brand says its attachment fits every toilet. Here is what each page claims:
- Tushy: Classic 4.0 “Fits 95% of Toilets”; the Classic 3.0 and Spa 3.0 pages say “universal fit on almost any toilet”. Tushy sells a separate skirted toilet kit for the Classic and Spa ($8).
- Luxe Bidet: “Our bidets are compatible with most toilets”, with a link to a bidet fit guide.
- Brondell: the FreshSpa page says it “fits seamlessly between your existing toilet and toilet seat, featuring a universal, adjustable fit” and lists a 0.33-inch frame. The EasySpa lists a 0.23-inch thickness.
- Bio Bidet: the SlimEdge page says no batteries, outlet or plumber are required; check Bio Bidet’s fit information for your bowl.
The pages we read do not say much about one-piece toilets or other unusual bowl shapes, so treat those as questions for the brand’s fit guide or support. Measure first, and keep the packaging until you know the seat sits level.
When to choose a full bidet seat instead
If you are comparing electric seats at a warehouse club, see what Costco lists in bidet seats and smart toilets.
Pick a seat if you want a heated seat, built-in warm water without a hot line, or a dryer, and you are comfortable with an outlet near the toilet. If you only want a front and rear rinse, an attachment keeps your current seat.
If you are considering HOROW, read the compatibility notes carefully. The B0400 non-electric seat ($99) lists specific HOROW toilet models as compatible (the T0338 and T0337 series, among others), and the B0403 heated seat ($289) shows the same list. The B0503 heated seat with dryer ($319) says it is “compatible with 8733 series toilets”. None of these pages promises a fit on a toilet from another brand, so treat them as add-ons for HOROW’s own toilets, not general replacements. If you have a different toilet, check the fit on the product page or use an attachment above.
See HOROW's B0400 and its compatible toilet listOur HOROW smart toilet review covers the toilets these seats are made for, and non-electric bidet toilets covers a toilet that has no power need. If your concern is outages with an electric product, see smart toilets and power outages. For TOTO’s electric seats, see TOTO Washlet models compared.
How we checked
We read each brand’s own US product page on November 4, 2026 and recorded the listed price, water type, nozzle count, self-cleaning and fit wording as written. Where a page didn’t say, we left it as “not stated”. Prices and stock change often, so confirm on the product page. We haven’t tested these products hands-on. Health questions about bidet use belong with your doctor.

Key takeaways
- The eight attachments we compare list for $35.99 to $139 on their own brands' sites (Nov 4, 2026), and none of them is listed as needing electricity (Tushy's 3.0 pages simply don't say).
- Only warm-water models (Brondell FreshSpa Thinline Advanced, Luxe NEO 320, Tushy Spa 3.0) tie into your sink's hot supply line; the rest wash with the water your toilet line delivers.
- No brand promises a fit on every toilet: Tushy says 95% for the Classic 4.0, Luxe says 'most toilets', Brondell says 'universal, adjustable fit'. Check each brand's fit guide first.
- HOROW's $99 non-electric seat (B0400) is not a universal upgrade; its page lists specific HOROW toilet models it is compatible with.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a bidet attachment and a bidet seat?
An attachment is a slim, non-electric frame that sits between your existing toilet bowl and seat, and you keep your seat. A bidet seat replaces the seat entirely and, on electric models, can add a heated seat, warm water and a dryer.
Do bidet attachments fit any toilet?
No brand we checked promises that. Tushy says its Classic 4.0 'fits 95% of toilets', Luxe says its bidets are 'compatible with most toilets', and Brondell describes a 'universal, adjustable fit'. Check the brand's fit guide before buying.
Do I need electricity or a plumber for a bidet attachment?
Six of the eight models in this guide say they need no electricity; Tushy's 3.0 pages don't say. Tushy's Classic 4.0 page says 'No electricity or plumber needed'. Warm-water models also need a connection to your sink's hot water line.
How much does a bidet attachment cost?
On the brands' own sites on November 4, 2026, the eight we compare ranged from $35.99 (Brondell EasySpa) to $139 (Tushy Classic 4.0). Several were marked down from a higher list price, so check the current price.
Can I use HOROW's bidet seat on any toilet?
Not safely assumed. HOROW's B0400 page lists compatible toilet models (T0338, T0337 and others), and its B0503 page says it is compatible with 8733 series toilets. Check the fit on the product page.
